Here tips how to splits 1 Astro Beyond to 2 TV


Hi guys,
Here I want to share what I do to split Astro beyond to 2nd TV..

Cost:
1-AEM extra link: RM48.00
2-PX Universal RCA-RF converter: RM78.00
3-Astro Beyond remote control: RM17.00
4-Coaxial cable: Use existing cable

I’m buy all this item at Jalan Kapar.I think Jalan Pasar Pudu@KL will be cheap then this…

As they said..Picture tell all the story.. I hope this can helping u guys..Beside is best to doing DIY..
Finally all channel working well
Including HD channel

    Hi Jason,
    Both tv will wacth same channel,but u still can use astro remote control on both tv.

    Saya dah buat as your guide. Anyway terdapat banyak brand bagi equipmrnt ni, tapi saya cari brand yang sama macam bro letak dalam gambar. Brand lain ada harga yang lagi murah.

    Harga yang boleh dapat dekat jalan pasar.

    AEM Extra Link : RM40 (RM 35 pun ada)
    PX Universal RCA-RF Converter : RM 60 (RM 40 pun ada)
    Remote : Dalam RM 10
    Coaxial Cable : RM 1.50 - RM 2.50 (tengok kualiti)

    Sharing is caring..dari masalah yg sy hadapi masa nak pasang..RCA-RF converter brand PX-universal ni boleh pakai,sbb sy dah cuba brands "beyond" ble search masa nak set chenal kat TV ke 2 tidak dapat siaran yg jelas..BTW jika masa bro nak set search chenal tak dapat jelas..cuba tukar no yg atas RCA-RF conveter..selamat mencuba..

    Bro,

    One question.

    2nd TV get the video from (Beyond Decorder, RCA output port) - (RCA, RF converter, RF output) - (Long RF cable) - (AEM extra link receiver) - (2nd TV).

    How the 1st TV receive the video/audio? By using single HDMI output at beyond recorder?

    1. Can byond decorder give the output video/audio at the same time, no need to disconnect if 1 port use at the same time?

    2. Single HDMI cable can bring audio/video at the same time?

    3. What if the 2nd and 1st TV can accept RF (normal port antena) or RCA port only? Where/How to split the video/audio?

    Bro.. sorry a bit late reply ur comment..

    1st & 2nd question – answer: 1st tv receive video &audio directly from HDMI..HDMI is digital connections that provide video and audio digitally in single cable.

    3th question answer: if 1st tv doesn’t have HDMI connection, u can use a RCA joiner to slit the RCA cable to become two way RCA output.. One RCA connect to 1st tv and anther one connect to RCA-RF converter that connect to 2nd TV.

    ***reason we convert RCA to RF only because the AEM- extra link receiver only working with RF frequency. With this method only we can using astro remote control for changing channels and other function on 2nd tv.

    Tak boleh guna HDMI to RCA converter yang below RM 50 tu ke? Saya dengar orang kata tak berjaya.

    Split guna Y splitter tu ok ke? Ada orang cakap tak jadi, kena pakai splitter RCA yang kena pakai power?

    Bro..sy dah cuba satu RCA converter jenaya "Beyond" memang tak boleh dpt frekungsi kat chanel 2nd TV.. Jenama yg saya guna dan cara yg sy pasang mmg boleh. Smpai skrg ia masih berfungsi tanpa msalah.. Mengenai RCA joint bentuk Y..awk boleh cuba dahulu..cost pun murah..joint Y tu dlm rm2-3 shj..jika tidak berjaya awk boleh carik RCA spilter yg guna power souce utk beroperasi.. DIY perlu kan cubaan n sedikit kegagalan..bru jumpa jln nyer.. Ni email sy..bleh email sy bantu.. fareeznoorashid@yahoo.com.my
